In this season of being thankful and the spirit of the holidays, I’m so appreciative that Tri-Marq gives me the chance to share my creative knowledge and expertise so that I can help others.

Over the past two years, I have had the opportunity to be part of our production team for the video we create for the Women for MACC, “Couture for a Cure” fashion show, benefiting Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. I have met some truly amazing people along the way, and have found tremendous personal fulfillment in helping, in some small way, this incredibly worthy cause.

I am glad and grateful that I work for a company that values giving back. Over the years, I have worked on shows for The Benedict Center, The National Kidney Foundation, Susan G. Komen Southeast Wisconsin, Marquette University, in addition to Children’s Hospital. For me, having a sense of alignment among my skills and external passions is extremely important.

Tri-Marq sponsored the production services for this year’s video, titled “A Future Is Possible.” Our services included pre-production, on-location shooting and post production. Tom Richardson, Greg Ideran, and I went and met the family of a little boy battling leukemia. Meeting Gavin Bugalski, along with his family, nurses and doctors, we put together a story of resilience, hope, and love. The end result was very well received; I know my greatest satisfaction was simply helping to share the story, as well as gaining even more appreciation for what true strength and resolve is.

It is those people and those moments in life that we carry with us for years and years. I am humbled for the opportunities that I have had to make a difference.
