Over the years, we’ve been lucky to be recognized with several awards, including an Emmy Award. Some are well-known awards; some are more industry-specific.

In 1991, High Top Tower won an Emmy Award in the Best Children’s Series category. Tri-Marq produced the series in conjunction with Triton College in River Grove, the Prevention Resource Center, Inc., and the Illinois Department of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse. The six-part series taught children and their parents the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse and fostered communication and discussion. Tri-Marq was also nominated for an Emmy for the writing.

It High Top Tower also received the Recognition for Excellence at the American Film & Video Festival and the Recognition for Excellence from the U.S. Department of Education Awards.

Chris and Jim accepting the Tiedge Award

In April 2005, we were both honored with the James T. Tiedge Memorial Award by our alma mater Marquette University. The award honors MU alumni whose professional lives reflect the values Dr. Tiedge taught and lived, including the social responsibility of media professionals. We were excited and humbled to be recognized by the school that sparked our careers.

In addition to the Emmy and Tiedge Memorial Award, our work at Tri-Marq has won plenty of other awards spanning over two decades, including numerous Telly Awards, Summit Awards, a Parent’s Choice Award, National Business Marketing Association Bell Awards, Addy Awards, the Videographer Award, and the Platinum Best of Show Aurora Award.

We don’t produce programs to win awards, but we’re extremely proud to lead a company of great talent that consistently produces amazing, award-winning content. And of course we’re honored that our contributions have been recognized by the likes of Marquette University and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
